Telford's International Centre (a purpose built exhibition and conference venue situated in the West Midlands in the UK) is leading the way with a new hi-tech event management system designed specifically to suit its needs.

The venue has been working with Parrimark Technology to tailor the Events Perfect software for its own use.

Sales and Marketing Manager, Matthew Lambert, said: "Their enthusiasm for and knowledge of the product has certainly rubbed off on our staff and with all our events now on the same diary, everyone is raring to go."

Matthew said The International Centre was now using the new system right across the venue, and the software was used to co-ordinate events, from the very first initial enquiry right through to invoicing.

"We obviously have an extremely large database of information, and we worked closely with Parrimark Technology to adapt the software to suit our needs. We believe we have probably done the most with the new system that any of their clients have attempted, as we wanted to make sure it could be used right across the board."

The system records details of an entire event all in one place, including the catering arrangements, rooms to be used, and even down to the number of teas and coffees required.

"All our departments have had specialised training which is ongoing, and we are receiving excellent support from Parrimark to refine the system as we work with it more regularly.

"It gives us an excellent information resource, and means that all our staff can access the details they need quickly and efficiently," said Matthew.
